This was our house in Utah, built in the 1950s and in a neighborhood that resembled the 1950s, or at least my vision of the 1950s. We knew our neighbors very well and we all shared household items, watched out for each others kids and when we adopted a dog who was pregnant, it was our neighbors who helped us out. I loved this neighborhood and the people who made it our home.
This morning I received a text message from a former neighbor and it just brightened my day! Something that probably took her 2 minutes to send, but will add cheerfulness to my whole Wednesday. Thank you Tera!
